Everyone talks about growth.
Six figures.
Seven figures.
Scale.
But try this:
Write down a number.
Not "what sounds impressive" or "what would prove something" - what number would let you stop worrying about money and focus on the work?
Now write what that number buys you.
Time with family?
Four-day weeks?
Saying no to annoying clients?
The ability to take August off?
Most people chase growth without ever defining what they're growing toward.
They scale past enough without noticing.
Then they're managing a team, stuck in meetings, doing work they're not good at.
Here's the uncomfortable question_
What if the gap isn't_
"I need to double revenue"
but_
"I need to cut the stuff that doesn't matter"?
Try the exercise.
Write the number.
See what it tells you about what you're actually building.
